All-Star Go Kart Tournament Revs Up Its Engines To Benefit The American Diabetes Association
Los Angeles, CA (4/25/11 ) – Actress Kyla Pratt (Hotel For Dogs, Dr. Dolittle), actor Rockmond Dunbar (CSI: Miami, Prison Break), and Harry Shum, Jr. (Glee, Step Up 3D), as well as recognized athletes such as UFC Champion Tito Ortiz and Jamie Sharper from the Seattle Seahawks are just a sample of the celebrity attendees congregating on May 28th at the K1 Speed Indoor Racing facility in Gardena for a day of fun-filled activities and an exciting Go-Kart Tournament to create awareness and show their support for the American Diabetes Association.

Company Facts
Team Up World was born in February 2007 by a group of dedicated volunteers that wanted to make a lasting change for young inner-city youth.
The founder Lara Blume is from the city of Little Rock Arkansas. Where she started her charitable work at the Marin Luther King Commission at the age of 14 led by Tracy Steele.
Team Up World has based their business around working with professional athletes. TUW created a name in the non-profit world through developing programs and events for professional athletes foundations.
May 2007 was Team Up World Inaugural event in Los Angles California. In attendance was Reggie Bush, Ray Lewis, Michael Strahan, Shawne Merriman and many more star athletes. The event benefited the Salvation Army Youth Center in South Los Angeles.
Lara Blume dedicated 2003-2005 volunteering and supporting the Salvation Army South LA center; where she implemented youth programs, field trips, raised funds and sat on the " Army of Angels" board.
TUW raises funds independently through private donations and government grants.
TUW plans taking the company global through international contacts in sports and media.
TUW is ran by a select group of individuals that are passionate about helping those in need.
TUW started a daily blog for those to keep up with current events and news.
